FACET's Lil' Champs
FACET Lil’ Champs, an allergy-friendly children’s program geared toward ages 0-5 years, is offered by the Food Allergy Community of East Tennessee (FACET) as a support network for children and caregivers. All events will promote an
allergy-friendly environment in which children can meet, play, and learn to be champions of the food allergy community.
Adult caregivers will be provided a network of resources and support to successfully raise a child with food allergies.
The program is open to those diagnosed with food allergies as well as other members of the community who want to help promote a safe social environment for families managing dietary restrictions.

Mission Statement
FACET Lil’ Champs is a group dedicated to the social development of children with food allergies.
We are a supportive network of parents and caregivers who assist in helping children thrive and overcome
the social challenges associated with a food allergy diagnosis.
Goal
Children with food allergies will have the opportunity to engage with other kids while learning to become an empowered advocate (champion). Children who do not have food allergies will have the opportunity to learn to value individual differences while becoming champions for their friends. Parents and other caregivers will have the opportunity to provide support to one another while enjoying stress-free, allergy-friendly social interactions.
